Every HÈIRLOOM product is crafted from vintage kimonos, carefully reimagined and remade. The kimonos are delicately unstitched, cleaned, and prepared before being sewn into new garments by skilled Japanese artisans.
Each piece is made entirely in Japan.

HÈIRLOOM shirts are made from 100% silk.
 Silk is a delicate natural protein fibre, and unlike cotton or polyester, it requires extra care.
 Washing with water may cause colour fading or wrinkling, so we recommend dry cleaning.
If you choose to wash your shirt at home, please handle it gently by following the care instructions below.

Care Instructions

<What You’ll Need>

  • A bowl or sink
  • pH-neutral detergent (such as "Emal" or "Acron" sold in Japan)

<Instructions>

  • Washing
    • Fill a bowl or sink with cold water and dissolve a small amount of mild detergent.
    • Fold the shirt and gently press it in the water to wash.
      Avoid twisting, scrubbing, or wringing the fabric.
  • Rinsing
    • Replace the water and gently press the shirt to rinse 2–3 times.
  • Water Removal
    • Gently press out excess water while reshaping the shirt.
      Place it between towels and roll it up from one end to absorb moisture.
  • Drying
    • Hang the shirt to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight.

 <Cautions>

  • Do not use bleach and softener.
  • If using a washing machine to spin-dry, limit the time to under one minute.
  • When ironing, use a low temperature (below 100°C) and place a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
  • Colours may bleed, so wash separately from other items.

Important Notes
All our products are made from vintage kimonos. Some kimonos may be over 100 years old, and may show natural signs of aging, such as fading or slight wear. We hope you’ll embrace these unique characteristics as part of their charm.

We do our best to display colours accurately, but due to your screen settings and lighting, they may look different.

Some items may have a faint smell of mothballs, which will gradually fade with washing.

商品について

HÈIRLOOMのすべての商品は、Vintageの着物を丁寧に解き、洗浄をした上で、熟練の職人の手によって縫製されている一点ものです。全ての工程を日本国内で行っています。

HÈIRLOOMのシャツは100％シルクで作られています。シルクは動物性タンパク質からできており、綿やポリエステルとは違い非常に繊細です。

水で洗うと色抜けやシワが発生する可能性がありますので、ドライクリーニングを推奨しています。

もしご自宅で洗濯される場合は以下の手順に従い丁寧に扱っていただけますと幸いです。

お手入れ方法

<必要なもの>

  • ボウルか洗面台
  • 中性洗剤（エマール・アクロンなど）

<手順>

  • 洗浄
    • ボウルか洗面台に水を入れ、中性洗剤を少量溶かします。
    • シャツは畳んだ状態で水に浸し、やさしく押し洗いをします。ねじったりこすらないようご注意ください。
  • すすぎ
    • 水を入れ替え、やさしく押しながら2〜3回すすぎます。
  • 脱水
    • 形を整えながら水気を切り、タオルに挟み端から丸めて脱水します。
  • 乾燥
    • 陰干ししてください。

<注意事項>

  • 漂白剤、柔軟剤は使用しないでください。
  • 洗濯機で脱水する場合は1分以下にしてください。
  • アイロンをかける場合は、低温（100℃以下）で、当て布を使用してください。
  • 色落ちの可能性がありますので、他のものとは分けて単独で洗ってください。

商品の注意事項

HÈIRLOOMの商品は、すべてヴィンテージの着物をリメイクして製作しています。なかには100年以上前の着物も含まれており、経年による色あせや擦れなどが見られることがあります。こうした特徴もヴィンテージならではの魅力としてお楽しみいただければ幸いです。

色味はできる限り実物に近づけて掲載していますが、ご覧になるデバイスの設定や照明環境によって見え方が異なる場合がございます。あらかじめご了承ください。

商品によっては防虫剤の香りが残っていることがありますが、着用や洗濯を重ねるうちに徐々に薄れていきます。
